What is cosmetic dentistry, and how is it different
from general dentistry?
Cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth, gums, and overall smile, including any issues you currently have with the colour, shape or alignment of your teeth. General dentistry, on the other hand, addresses broader oral health issues and helps to tackle problems like cavities and gum disease.
Am I a good fit for cosmetic dental treatment?
Most people are eligible for these types of cosmetic procedures, but there are some exceptions. It’s best to attend a free consultation, during which one of our trained cosmetic dentists will talk to you about your options, highlight any concerns, and suggest viable alternatives where necessary.
Are cosmetic dentistry procedures painful?
Most cosmetic procedures are minimally invasive and designed to be as comfortable as possible. We sometimes offer local anaesthesia or sedation options; please speak to us to see if you are eligible for these based on your health, your medical history, and the treatment you have chosen. We’ll always advise you on ways to reduce any short-term discomfort after your treatment has taken place.
How long will my results last?
This will depend on the treatment that has been carried out, and how closely you follow our aftercare instructions. To maximise your results, you will need to follow good oral hygiene practices – and whatever you’ve had done, we typically avoid smoking or consuming dark-coloured food and beverages (including tea, coffee and red wine) to help maintain the brightness of your smile in the coming weeks and months.

treatments cost?
